On November 8, 2019, Les Entretiens d'Avène Americas were held in Miami and on December 6, 2019, Les Entretiens d'Avène Asia were  in Seoul entitled "The jungle on the skin: cutaneous microbiome" . 
This international edition, organized by the AVENE Medical Department, aimed to introduce dermatologists and hospital dermatologists to a major scientific program under the chairmanship of Professor Brigitte DRENO (Nantes) and Professor Gil Yosipovitch (Miami) for the US and Professor Andreas Wollenberg (Munich, Germany) and Kyu Han KIM (Seoul, Korea) for the Asia edition.  The participants were able to gain a wealth of knowledge through presentations by international experts on the role of the microbiome in various skin pathologies. One session was devoted exclusively to the intrinsic properties of Avène thermal spring water on the cutaneous microbiome.
